The Wilson Ministry Center started as an “open doors ministry.” The Wilson Ministry Center (WMC) was established as an outreach ministry by Grace Memorial Episcopal Church and has grown to become a community center offering a variety of services and programs for area residents. Programs are designed to offer assistance, support, educational and enrichment opportunities for people of all ages. Through our various programs we are working to meet these goals: - To provide programs and services for senior citizens
- To provide a safe haven and programming for children
- To support strong families
- To provide liaison, referral and support services to other community organizations
- To offer educational and cultural opportunities for area residents
- To provide a central location for local groups and organizations to hold workshops and meetings
Some of the programs offered by the Wilson Ministry Center are: - Children: Music Lessons, Before and After School childcare programs, Summer Camp
- Youth: Teen dances, karaoke night
- Basic Needs Assistance for low-income families and seniors
